October favorites

It's November 1st. October is over, so it is time to share what I've been loving this month.

New plant. In the middle of October I've bought myself this lovely plant. It is a crassula plant. It makes my room look cozier and me feel happier.

Duolingo. I've been using this app before when I wanted to learn Italian. This month I started using it again. So far I've been practicing consistently and even beat 30 day streak. Duolingo is simple to use and doesn't require a lot of time. There are many languages you can learn with it online.

Suits. Autumn is the perfect time to watch tv series, under a blanket, with a cup of tea. I watched season 5 and 6 of Suits in October and I enjoyed it.

Essence lipstick, 06 Barely there. A beautiful color, perfect for autumn.

Indie music. It is one of my favorite types of music, but for some reasons I haven't been listening to it for a while. In October I discovered it again.

Those are my favorites of the month of October. What was yours?

March favorites

For the last 2 weeks I was busy. But it's not the main reason why I haven't posted anything through out this time. The main reason - blogger's block. I had no motivation or desire to write. In my opinion, it is normal and every blogger, vlogger or writer should have some time off, just to relax, think and find new inspiration. Hopefully, my block is over and I'll keep posting as often as I can.

For today's post I would like to share my March favorites. In the begging I would like to point out that the month of March wasn't as successful and interesting as I would like it to be, so I don't have a lot of favorites.

BEAUTY. Maybelline Colorama Crayon Khol

Fell in love with it again. It is a great color for everyday.

BOOK. Second glance by J. Picoult

It is a mystery book about ghosts and eugenics project. I like J.Picoult's writing, her books are easy to read and very interesting, she writes about real life issues.

TV SHOW. Stalker

Amazing show. It's similar to those crime-drama tv series (like CSI) but I like this one, because here crimes are explained from a psychological side. Hopefully new episodes will come out soon. Can't wait!

January favorites

Last day of the month means it's favorites time!

BEAUTY. Garnier Ultra Doux Honey Treasures hair mask
I've bought this mask in the middle of December, but started using it only in the end of December/beginning of January. It is a great mask, leaves my hair soft and nourished. It has honey extract in it, which from my experience works very good on my dry, coarse hair. And it smells amazing! After shampooing my hair, I put this mask for about 3 minutes and then rinse it off. I feel the difference immediately.

MOVIE. Predestination (2014)
Great movie! I like this type of movies when you don't understand what is going on and you are completely dragged into it trying to solve the whole situation (like Shutter island, The illusionist etc.). It is the best mind-blowing movie so far! I had a feeling that my brain is going to explode :D If you like such movies, watch it - you'll love it.

BOOK. Wm.Paul Young "Cross roads"
It is a fiction novel about a egoistical businessman who falls into coma and the same time finds himself in a surreal world, where he can see and analyze his whole life. Also he can see the present through other people eyes and this way try and correct his mistakes. It's the first book that I read by this author and I enjoyed it (gave it 5/5 stars on goodreads). It shows a persons journey through himself and his life. I also want to read the first authors book The Shack.

PAGE. buzzfeed.com
There is so much interesting and fun stuff there. I can watch their videos for hours.

MUSICEd Sheeran
I listened to his songs almost every single day. Want to learn all the lyrics, because in February I'm going to his concert. Can't wait!
I've been loving Photograph and Afire love.

EVENT. Graduation!
Yes! Finally on 27th of January I've graduated from university. Yey! After 3,5 years of studying it is over and I gained a bachelor's degree. It makes me extremely happy and proud.

Have a lovely February! :)

Best of 2014

Long time no seek!
I was inspired by Sophie's from It's a Saunders Thing post where she wrote about her favorite things in 2014. So I also want to look back at 2014 and point out my faves. Here we go!

Favorite movie:
About Time. This movie is also in my all time favorite movies list.

Favorite book:
I have two - The Fault in our stars by John Green (it was the first book that made me cry) and The Kite runner by Khaled Hosseini

Favorite TV show:
Breaking Bad

Favorite event:
James Arthur's gig in August.

Favorite day:
The day I became a Godmother.

Favorite place:
Beside the sea where I went on vacation.

Favorite quote:
It seems impossible until it's done. Nelson Mandela

 Favorite drink:
Masala chai (chai latte). In the last couple of months I've always ordered this in coffee shops. What I like about chai that it is tea but tastes like coffee!

Favorite accessories:
Necklaces. This year I've been wearing them more often than usually.

Favorite moment:
The moment when my defense of final bachelors paper (that I worked on a couple of months) was over. The only thing left to do is to receive the diploma in the end of January and finito. Yey!

Hopefully, 2015 will be a better year. I will try to make it better.

Also, after Blogmas I feel unorganized about my blog. It was hard to write every day but I was motivated and had planned all my posts. Now, when it is over I feel that I've been procrastinating. But I'll try to sort it out.
If you have any suggestions or questions, I've made a contact form (on the right). Don't hesitate to contact me :)

Have a great weekend! Make the best of it.
