Bucket List 2014 - Results

After a little break I'm back with a new post. This time about my 2014 bucket list. Today is the last day of 2014 so it's time to look back and what I did from my list. Here was my Bucket list of 2014:

  1. Visit another country. Sadly, I didn't do it. I haven't been traveling this year at all.
  2. Reach level A2 at Italian. No, I've been learning it myself in the beginning of the year but then I gave up. But I can say that I am at A1 now, instead of A0.
  3. Go to the sea and spend there a couple of days. I went there June with my friends.
  4. Watch 100 movies. Haven't reached that number - I watched 65 new movies this year.
  5. Read 50 books. I knew it will be too much for me. I've read 27 books. Still it is a lot.
  6. Keep a gratitude journal. Done it. I'm planning to write a post about my journal.
  7. Do one month of Blogilates calendar workouts. In April I've completed the whole Beginners calendar. I did this calendar second time, first time was last year.
  8. Loose 5kg. Nearly did it. I've lost 4.
  9. Make a short movie. I've done the Document Your Life project, but only made one video from one month. Can't share it, because it's not on Youtube anymore.
  10. Watch the sunrise.

5/5. Not bad, but I would love to check of everything from the list. Still I'm proud of myself. I did what i wanted to, reached some goals.
Now it is time to say goodbye to 2014 and meet New 2015 Year with new experiences, new dreams and a new 2015 Bucket List.
Put down the old book and start reading the new. Make 2015 as good as you want it to be.

Happy New Year everyone!

Blogmas Day 23 / Christmas Cookies

It's the 23 of December. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve already. I can believe it! Time flows so fast.
This evening I was baking cookies for Christmas and I thought I would share the recipe, because they are delicious. For these cinnamon cookies you will need:

  • 120 g of butter
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  •  1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
  • 1-2 cups of flour
  • 1 egg

Grate butter, add egg, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and vanilla sugar. Mix everything and add the flour. Dough have to be soft and not sticky. Roll up on floured board to about 0,4 cm thickness. Cut out the cookies and bake them at 180°C for 10 minutes.

These cookies are easy and fast to make and tastes delicious.
Tomorrow I will decorate and make them look more Christmasy.

Blogmas Day 18 / Christmas TAG

Hey!
It's only 7 days left till Christmas so I've decided to write Christmas themed posts for the last 7 days of Blogmas. Yey!

Source: http://quotes.lol-rofl.com/christmas-fireplace-scene/

Today I want to do the Christmas tag. It is created by lovely Amy from A touch of pastels and Jess from Hey it is jess

1. What is your favorite Christmas film?
I can't choose only one movie. My favorite ones have to be Elf and Home Alone (absolute legend).
2. What is your favorite Christmas drink?
I don't have a favorite Christmas drink to be honest, but during this festive time I like to drink warming tea, hot chocolate and mullet wine.
3. Does your family have any Christmas traditions?
No particular traditions. We decorate the Christmas tree together, on Christmas day we have a family dinner, after which we open our presents.
4. What time do you wake up on Christmas day?
Around 9 am.
5.Ever had a white Christmas?
Yes.
6. Is your tree real or fake?
Sometimes fake, sometimes real. This year we are having a real one which I am very excited about, because it will smell like Christmas.
7. What is your favorite Christmas song?
Another question when I can't choose only one. Slade - Merry Christmas everyone, Michael Buble - Christmas, Mariah Carey - All I want for Christmas is you.
8. What is your favorite color combination of Christmas decorations?
Red and gold.
9. Have made a Gingerbread house?
No, never.
10. Favorite part of the Christmas dinner?
Being with family together.
11. What is your Christmas day fashion?
Usually a dress or a skirt with a nice sweater.
12. Do you open your presents before or after dinner?
After dinner.

Blogmas Day 17 / Beauty Haul

A couple of days ago I went for a bit of shopping and bought some new products:

  • Garnier Ultra Doux Honey Treasures Hair Mask. It is a reconstructing mask for fragile, brittle hair. I like Garnier hair products, especially conditioners, but I haven't tried any mask yet.

  •  Evoluderm Jojoba oil. Once I worked in an oil shop and then everyone was asking for jojoba oil, because they heard that it is great for your hair.  Jojoba oil has Vitamin F and is used for dry hair and skin. It moisturizes, stops the aging process.

  • Gabriella Salvete Fiorello Rouge Blush - 02. The second photo reflects better how the blush color looks like in real life.

Blogmas Day 16 / Falling down

Once in a while everyone experience hard times, weakness, hopelessness, when it is too much. Times, when you feel that everything is falling apart, when you are tired and just want to leave it all and walk away. But there is that stupid situation when there is nothing to leave and nowhere to go. I understand it. I feel that way.

I know that feeling of wanting to change something, leave everything behind and start a blank page. But it isn't simple. To do that it is necessary to know what bends you down and what you have to do. When you don't know, you can't change anything.

Lately I feel that I am falling down. I feel tired of everything, I want to make a change, start a new chapter. But I feel hopeless because I don't know what I should do. Even if I have some thoughts, I can't make them real because of the lack of opportunities. Maybe this seems like I am searching for excuses but I'm not trying to. Probably I just need some advice or a bit more time to figure it all out myself.

Life isn't perfect, everyone have hard times, so do I. Even though Day 16 of Blogmas is not the most positive one, still I am very proud of myself for writing everyday of December.
It is only 9 days till Christmas left!

Blogmas Day 13 / Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution

A couple of months ago I was searching for a new face cream. I've heard a lot of positive feedback about Bioderma production, so I've decided to try it out myself. I've chose face cream (which I will review in a separate post) and was watching the micellar water. I wanted to try it for a long time now, but every time it was a bit too expensive for me. But that time I saw that Bioderma has a little 100ml bottle and it was on sale that day, so I decided to treat myself.

I've been using the Bioderma micellar water for almost 2 months now and I absolutely love it. I have dry sensitive skin with Keratosis Pilaris. This water doesn't irritate my skin, calms it down and leaves a smooth feeling. This product easy and completely removes any makeup. It perfectly removes eye and face makeup. Before it any product had removed all of the foundation, but Bioderma Micelle solution does. It removes mascara and eye liner fast and easy. As for removing waterproof makeup I can't say anything, because I don't use waterproof makeup.

Micelle Solution doesn't need rinsing, but sometimes I do it, just to feel sure that my face is completely clean. It is alcohol and fragrance free. I've used less than a third over those 2 months.

I am very happy with this product. Only con I can find is the price. But on the other hand this is a great product that has a lot of pros and is worth its money.
I would like to try out other companies micellar water (Garnier for example), cheaper ones and compare them to Bioderma. I am sure that I will repurchase it again.

Blogmas Day 12 / Halfway

12th of December. It is halfway through blogmas and 12 days left till Christmas. I am very proud of myself that I got through those 12 days with a blog post everyday. Hopefully I'll continue the same way :)

I'm so excited for Christmas. My room isn't decorated yet, but I will try to do it next week. Still I feel festive. This year I got myself an advent calendar (yes, I'm 22, but who cares, not me), it reminds me of childhood. Also, I've decided to try and bake some Christmas cookies this year. If this turns out well, I'll hopefully make a blog post about it.

That's it for today, take care. Victoria
